Established in 1993, DEC aspired to be an "English haven" within Yokaichi (now Higashiomi). We have had the pleasure of being involved in the lives of many students over the past 30 years. However, as is often stated, "all good things must come to an end." It is with some sadness that we wish to inform you that DEC will be shutting our doors for good, in March 2023.
1993年に設立されたDECは、八日市（現在の東近江）の「イングリッシュヘブン」を目指していました。 過去30年間、多くの学生の人生に関わってきたことを嬉しく思います。 ただし、よく言われるように、「すべての良いことには終わりが必要です」。 残念ながら、2023 年 3 月に DEC が完全に閉鎖されることをお知らせいたします。
A very BIG thank-you to the wonderful teachers we had the privilege of working with, and the many, many students that passed through our doors. We will forever be grateful to those we have come to know, and cherish, so well.
